UT College of Law climbs to 57th among law schools in U.S. News & World Report rankings

U.S. News & World Report released this year’s law school rankings on March 14. UT College of Law climbed eight spots over last year, ranking 57th of the 205 accredited law schools and 31st among public schools.

UT Law kicked off its two-day “Title IX: History, Legacy, and Controversy” conference yesterday, spotlighting Title IX issues in athletics and education, campus sexual assault, media coverage of Title IX issues, LGBTQ students, and much more. The conference honors UT Lady Vols basketball coach Pat Summitt.

U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals holds oral arguments at UT College of Law

The United States Army Court of Criminal Appeals (ACCA) recently held oral arguments for U.S. v. Mayo at the College of Law. Students had the unique opportunity to observe the JAG Corps in action, as well as meet with and ask questions of the Army officers involved.
