College of Law offers assistance with income tax filing

The College of Law Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to those with an income of $55,000 or less, those with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.

IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Assistance is available at the College of Law on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. through April 11. The program will not run during spring break at the College of Law.
