A $2 million pledge was made on behalf of Summers, Rufolo & Rodgers, P.C., a Chattanooga-based law firm, to support students and faculty at the University of Tennessee College of Law.
The gift will support scholarships for students interested in pursuing legal careers in advocacy, as well as the College of Law Center for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, operating costs for the College of Law Legal Clinic, and the Douglas A. Blaze Leadership Scholarship.
“Since 1969, nine of our lawyers have been graduates of UT Law,” said Benjamin L. McGowan, spokesperson for the firm. “This gift continues the firm’s long-standing support of the UT College of Law and students interested in pursuing legal careers in advocacy.”
