College of Law jumps in latest U.S. News rankings

The University of Tennessee College of Law ranks 30th among all public law schools in the U.S., and 59th nationally among both public and private schools, according to the 2020 U.S. News and World Report graduate school rankings released today.

College of Law offers assistance with income tax filing

The College of Law Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to those with an income of $55,000 or less, those with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
