Communications Guidelines

General Communications

The College of Law Office of Communications is committed to helping students, faculty and staff share the news and events of the College of Law with both internal and external audiences. Our office can assist in devising a plan for reaching the audience with your message. Several platforms are available for internal and external communications including:

  • College of Law website
  • College of Law magazine
  • In-house messaging screens
  • Social media sharing
  • Email invitations
  • College and university events calendars

If you have story ideas to share, please contact our office via email at If would like assistance with your event, please complete a project request form no later than two weeks prior to your event date.

Digital Announcements

The video screen displays throughout the building may be used only by University of Tennessee students and employees for sharing messages throughout the College of Law. Requests to share information should be directed to the Office of Communications through a project request form no later than two weeks prior to the event. The Office of Communications will help you create the images that will be displayed.

Advertisements will be posted for no more than two weeks. Expired slides will be removed immediately following the event.

University Guidelines

The University of Tennessee Knoxville has developed brand guidelines to assist university faculty and staff in telling our stories and communicating them effectively.
