UT Law Class of 2025 has highest academic credentials on record

The University of Tennessee College of Law welcomed this month one of the most highly credentialed groups of first-year J.D. students in the law school’s history.  This talented and diverse cohort consists of 136 students—the largest entering class since 2013—with a median LSAT score of 160 and a median GPA of 3.

Dean Emeritus to assume interim leadership of College of Law

Dean Emeritus Doug Blaze, who is also the Art Stolnitz and Elvin E. Overton Distinguished Professor, has agreed to serve as dean of the College of Law on an interim basis beginning July 1. Blaze has been part of the college’s faculty since 1993, when he joined UT as director of clinical programs.
