Tennessee Law Welcomes Highest Credentialed Class in Its History

For the second year in a row, the University of Tennessee College of Law welcomed its most highly credentialed class. The 143 students in the Class of 2026 boast a median GPA of 3.78 and a median LSAT of 162, the strongest numbers in school history.

SWEL Event Fosters Diversity in the Legal Profession

According to the American Bar Association’s 2022 Profile of the Legal Profession, just 4.5% of lawyers are Black. The Summer Work Experience in Law (SWEL) program aims to significantly raise that percentage.

Loan repayment assistance available

The University of Tennessee College of Law is again offering loan repayment assistance to current students and alumni who are working in the public interest area. Thanks to the generosity of the Baker Donelson law firm, the College of Law will provide up to $10,000 in loan payment relief to qualified applicants.
