“My education at UT Law prepared me to hit the ground running as an attorney by providing experiential components to my doctrinal courses. Additionally, my experience in the advocacy clinic allowed me to gain the full experience of representing a client, advocating for their needs, and seeing their case through to a positive resolution.”
UT Law is a hidden gem tucked away in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. As you consider which law school you will attend, you will hear tales of how intimidating and unwelcoming law school can be. UT Law is nothing like what you would expect law school to be and everything you want it to be. The magic of practical hands-on education and the collegiality of the law school community makes UT Law the perfect place to learn how to become an excellent practitioner of the law and a conscientious leader who cares deeply about making your community a better place for all.
UT Law prepared me for a legal career by fostering my intellectual growth in a supportive environment with limitless resources and a faculty fully committed to my success. I met lifelong friends and future colleagues while cooperatively pursuing the countless opportunities available to us. My experience at UT Law was challenging, stimulating, rewarding, and fun. To this day, the UT Law community is an invaluable part of my life, both professionally and personally.
Being a member of the UT Law community makes me immensely proud. My classmates are exceptional people who are doing extraordinary things like helping to pass legislative bills, advocating for their communities, and assisting small business owners. Outside of the law school, I have found countless UT Law graduates who are willing to mentor and help students in any manner. The UT Law community is truly amazing and inspiring.
