College hosts annual Connecting the Threads business transactions conference

The fifth annual “Business Transactions: Connecting the Threads” event will take place at the College of Law on Sept. 24.

This one-day program will be offered virtually via Zoom, and lawyers will hear from business law professors from the Business Law Prof Blog who are currently teaching at various schools across the United States. UT Law professors and students will lead discussions involving business law experts who will serve as panelists and speak about developing trends in their areas of expertise.

The event covers current topics in business law and aims to weave together aspects of legal scholarship, law teaching and law practice.

Up to 5.5 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit will be offered for $65 including 1 dual credit. Attendees should register in advance to receive CLE credit by sending an e-mail to Micki Fox with “Connecting the Threads CLE” in the subject line.

The event is free for students and non-CLE attendees. To learn more, click here.
