College of Law graduate Taylor Wirth has been named one of the 40 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40 by the National LGBT Bar Association.
Each year the LGBT Bar recognizes LGBTQ+ legal professionals from among practicing lawyers, law professors, corporate counsel, members of the judiciary or politicians. Honorees are under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and have demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBTQ+ equality.
Wirth is a 2013 graduate of the College of Law and an attorney in the Nashville office of Bass, Berry and Sims. He advises public and private companies in securities regulation and corporate governance matters.
Wirth also works with pro bono clients The Invisible Histories Project, an Alabama-based nonprofit focused on the collection and preservation of Southern LGBTQ stories and artifacts, and The Mosaic Institute, a Tennessee-based nonprofit that provides training to rising leaders of color in the education space. Wirth is member of the Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
