We are excited to host David Weber, professor at Creighton University School of Law, for our next Law Review Live Event on November 8th at noon. Mr. Weber is faculty moderator for the Sports Law Concentration at Creighton, a widely published author, and he has advised and assisted NIL-related legislation on Capitol Hill. Mr. Weber’s article, “The Death of the NCAA As We Know It” will be published in our fall 2024 issue. His article discusses challenges to the NCAA and its ability to regulate college athletics in the wake of new NIL legislation. Further, his article discusses antitrust concerns, labor and employment issues, and the role of Title IX in a new collegiate sports paradigm. This event will be moderated by Bobby Brahmhall, sports law professor at the University of Tennessee College of Law, and it will feature former student-athletes.
