Nashville attorney Isaac Conner will speak at the University of Tennessee College of Law as part of the 20th annual Julian Blackshear, Jr. Scholarship Gala.
Conner, a 2003 graduate of the College of Law, works in the Nashville-based office of Manson, Johnson and Conner, PLLC, and has extensive experience in contract law and practices personal injury, employment, and entertainment law. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Nashville Bar Association, the Napier-Looby Bar Association, and the National Bar Association.
Conner earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology and counseling from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga where he also played college basketball before a brief professional basketball career.
The Blackshear Scholarship Gala will take place Friday, Feb. 7 at the Holiday Inn Downtown Knoxville. The annual event, hosted by the College of Law’s Black Law Students Association, is named for African-American graduate, Julian Blackshear Jr. Funds raised are earmarked to support minority student scholarships and to aid in the mission to enhance diversity and inclusion.
