Students to host 11th annual environmental law conference

The Appalachian Public Interest Environmental Law Conference will take place at the University of Tennessee College of Law on Sept. 26. The 11th annual event, hosted by the College of Law’s Environmental Law student organization, will be offered virtually via Zoom.

Two upcoming College of Law conferences will give attendees the opportunity to delve more deeply into business and environmental law. The first, Business Law: Connecting the Threads III, is a one-day program that takes place on Friday, Sept. 27. Panel discussions will focus on developing trends in business law.

The University of Tennessee College of Law will host the eighth annual Appalachian Public Interest Environmental Law Conference later this month. Lawyers, activists, students, scientists, faculty, and members of the community are invited to the international, three-day conference that centers upon achieving environmental and social justice throughout the Appalachian bioregion and surrounding areas.
