Master of Legal Studies: Contract Management and Business Law

The Contract Management and Business Law focus provides non-lawyers with the understanding of contract law and the skills necessary to review contract language, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with legal standards. This focus area also provides non-lawyers with an understanding of essential legal issues impacting the business world.  Students have the flexibility to tailor a schedule of courses to their own needs from these and other course offerings:

  • Written Project (minimum of 1 credit hour)

All courses listed above are designed specifically for students pursuing the MLS or Graduate Certificate and are offered online in an asynchronous fashion unless indicated otherwise. With some exceptions, students pursuing the MLS or Graduate Certificate through the Knoxville Campus enrollment option are permitted to take JD courses.
