Richard Greene
Richard is a senior trial attorney at the US Department of Justice in the Environment and Natural Resources Division. He has been with the Department for approximately 12 years in the Environmental Enforcement Section practicing affirmative litigation of federal environmental pollution laws. Richard also worked for the State Department in both the civil and foreign service. During his time with the State Department, Richard covered Latin America (Bolivia and Nicaragua) and served overseas in La Paz, Bolivia and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, Richard loves his Tennessee Volunteers and previously served on the law school’s alumni council. He also on chairs the board of the Historic Congressional Cemetery, a historic and active burial ground in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Washington, DC. Richard is married and is a father of two. In his free time, he enjoys to run, bike, and spend time with family and friends.
