Rebecca Eshbaugh
Professor Rebecca Eshbaugh joined the College of Law in 2023 as a Lecturer in the Legal Writing Program. She teaches Legal Process I & II.
Before joining the College of Law, Professor Eshbaugh served as an Assistant Public Defender with the Knox County Community Law Office. She has also worked with the Knoxville Bar Association and served as an Assistant Public Defender in Alaska. She earned her law degree from the New York University School of Law, where she interned at the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem and the ACLU of Tennessee. Following graduation, she clerked for Judge Philip Volland of the Alaska Superior Court and Chief Judge David Mannheimer of the Alaska Court of Appeals. She was born and raised in Knoxville.
