Lauren Sherwood is a Patent Attorney working remotely in Knoxville for Bookoff McAndrews, a patent counseling and prosecution law firm located in Washington, D.C. Lauren received her license to practice in Tennessee in 2018 and the District of Columbia in 2023. Additionally, Lauren has been registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office since 2013 as a patent agent prior to obtaining her law license. She has focused her practice on patent application preparation and prosecution in software, communications, and biotechnology areas.

 

Before practicing in the legal field, Lauren worked as a clinical research coordinator within a microbiology lab at the University of Florida.
