Professor Heath joined the College of Law in 2020 as director of the Academic Success Program and a member of the faculty. She is responsible for providing instruction, counseling, and academic assistance to students throughout their academic careers at the College of Law, as well as offering guidance to graduates preparing for the bar examination.
Professor Heath has a broad range of corporate and commercial experience having worked with the law firms of Reavis and McGrath (now Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP) and Zimet, Haines, Moss and Friedman in New York. She also worked with Ciba-Geigy Corporation (now, Novartis Corporation), a multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company; the Detroit Medical Center; and GMAC LLC (now, Ally Financial Inc.). Professor Heath was also a member of the faculty at Saint Louis University School of Law. Prior to joining the College of Law, she was the Assistant Dean of Academic Success and Bar Preparation at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Professor Heath has taught courses in contracts, sales, secured transactions, and food and drug law. She also studied acting in New York and is currently working on a screenplay.
