UT Law Unveils Five-Year Strategic Plan

This fall, the University of Tennessee College of Law announced its new Strategic Plan titled Tennessee Law: Lighting the Way. The title pays tribute to the University of Tennessee’s official symbol, the Torchbearer, and the school’s Volunteer Creed, “One that beareth a torch shadoweth oneself to give light to others.

Sponsored by the Moot Court Board and the Center for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, the competition requires students to write an appellate brief that is evaluated by a panel of scoring judges and deliver two oral arguments before a panel of attorneys.
