3L Class Gift Campaign

The 3L Class Gift Campaign is a proud tradition at the College of Law, giving 3L students the opportunity to come together and give back to the institution that has shaped their legal education. It’s a student-led fundraising effort that supports areas of the law school that matter most to you, including scholarships, student organizations, experiential learning programs, and other initiatives that enhance the student experience. By making a gift, you join a collective effort to strengthen the College of Law for future generations. Participating is a meaningful way to show appreciation, demonstrate school pride, and leave a lasting impact as you prepare to graduate and join the alumni community.

Paying it Forward
In May, you will join the ranks of more than 8,000 proud Vol Law alumni. Show your Big Orange love by paying it forward to current and future law students through one of the following avenues:
One-Time Gift
Make a one time gift to your favorite area of the college. One time gifts will count towards class participation goal, but will not qualify for incentives unless made at equivalent level.
Graduated Pledge
Make a significant gift with an initial payment as low as $8 per month in the first year, followed by incrementally larger payments over the next 2 years.

Where to Give
As part of the 3L Class Gift Campaign, you have the freedom to direct your gift to the area of the College of Law that means the most to you. Whether it’s supporting scholarships, student organizations, clinics, faculty initiatives, or any other program, your contribution makes a meaningful impact. Your support helps ensure future students have the same enriching experiences that shaped your time in law school.
The College of Law’s number one funding priority is student scholarships, and that is always a great place to start if you aren’t sure what you would like to support.
3L Class Gift Endowment:
This is the most popular allocation. The endowment supports the college’s greatest need – student scholarships.
Scholarships and Student Enrichment Funds:
This supports general or specific scholarship funds.
College of Law Centers and Programs:
- College Fund for Law
- Charles H. Miller Legal Clinic Fund
- Appalachian Justice Research Center
- Center for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Fund
- College of Law Public Interest Endowment
- James L. Clayton Center Endowment
- Law Library Fund
- TAPIL Stipend Fund
- Tennessee Law Review Fund
- And many more!
Gifts to the College of Law
