Professor Greg Stein’s forthcoming article, “Reverse Exactions,” which will be published soon in the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal, was reviewed favorably in Jotwell, by Professor Sarah Schindler. Jotwell reviews “the best works of recent scholarship” in various subject matter areas. Schindler concludes that “Professor Stein joins the ranks of other creative scholars such as Professors Chris Serkin and Tim Mulvaney, who have suggested that we should not always be so defensive when it comes to takings law, and might instead find ways to use it to reach more progressive ends. Stein does that here.”
Professor Greg Stein’s article, Five Miles in an Elevator, has been published in ACREL News, the quarterly newsletter of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Stein is a member of ACREL’s Board of Governors.
Professor Maurice Stucke was quoted in the CNN.com article “CVS-Aetna deal is a major test for Trump.” The article compares the proposed merger between CVS and Aetna with the AT&T acquisition of Time Warner that the Justice Department recently sued to block. While both are vertical mergers, Professor Stucke noted that “[t]he issues in the CVS-Aetna merger are not all going to be similar to those in AT&T-Time Warner” and he said that it was “premature to say if the merger will be blocked.
“The Rise, Fall, and Rebirth of the U.S. Antitrust Movement” by Professor Stucke and Professor Ariel Ezrachi appeared today in the Harvard Business Review.
