The University of Tennessee College of Law has named Sarah Busse its new director of admissions and financial aid.
Busse will join UT Law on July 1. She currently serves as the director of admissions programs and recruitment for Cornell University Law School, where she has been a member of the admissions team since 2004.
“Sarah will be a terrific leader of our already strong admissions team, and we are excited to welcome her to the UT Law family,” said Melanie D. Wilson, dean of the College of Law. “Her extensive experience in law school admissions will invigorate our recruitment efforts and help us reach and attract promising and talented prospective students throughout the country.”
Busse serves on the National Recruitment Calendar Workgroup of the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC). She previously served with LSAC on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Workgroup and as a faculty member for the New Admissions Training Workshop.
Prior to her current position, Busse worked in recruitment for Cornell Law’s Career Services Office and in communications for Cornell’s Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. She holds a Master of Arts degree in liberal studies from the State University of New York (SUNY) Stony Brook and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from SUNY Oneonta.
