Brad Morgan to serve as interim assistant dean for student affairs

College of Law Career Center Director Brad Morgan has been selected to serve as interim assistant dean of students at the college, effective March 1. Morgan replaces former College of Law Assistant Dean Katrice Morgan, who filled the position since 2007.  Brad Morgan has led the Bettye B.

Tennessee Law team dominates Phi Alpha Delta mock trial competition

For the second consecutive year, a University of Tennessee College of Law team has won the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International’s Mock Trial Competition. During the competition on Feb. 22 and 23 in Arlington, Va., two UT College of Law teams, consisting of four students each, competed against 26 other teams.

College offers loan repayment assistance

Recent graduates working in public interest law once again have the opportunity to receive assistance repaying their student debt through a program being offered by the University of Tennessee College of Law. Four graduates each received $4,000 in 2018 through the Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, PC Loan Repayment Assistance Program.
