Areheart recognized for labor and employment law scholarship

Brad Areheart, associate professor of law at the University of Tennessee College of Law, has been awarded the second annual Michael J. Zimmer Memorial Award. The award was presented to Areheart last week at the 12th annual Colloquium on Scholarship in Employment and Labor Law at Texas A&M University School of Law.

Labor and employment law professors selected Areheart for the award, which recognizes “a rising scholar who values workplace justice and community, and who has made significant contributions to the field of labor and employment law scholarship.” Areheart’s work has been published in the University of Chicago Law Review, Michigan Law Review, Alabama Law Review, Boston College Law Review and George Washington Law Review.

The award honors Zimmer’s many contributions to employment and labor law throughout his work as a law professor.
