UT Law Office of Communications wins four TCPRA awards

The University of Tennessee College of Law’s Office of Communications recently won four awards from the Tennessee College Public Relations Association (TCPRA).

The University of Tennessee College of Law’s Office of Communications recently won four awards from the Tennessee College Public Relations Association (TCPRA).

Tennessee Law Now
Tennessee Law Now won a gold TCPRA award in the e-newsletters category.

The awards were presented during TCPRA’s annual summer conference, held in Chattanooga in May.

The UT Law Office of Communications won the following awards:

  • A silver award in the illustration category for an illustration of musician Robin Thicke (see above), used as the cover image of the spring 2016 issue of Tennessee Law magazine for the feature story “Between the #BlurredLines,” which explores the legal and creative aspects of Thicke’s copyright battle with the estate of Marvin Gaye. The feature was also published in the university’s Torchbearer magazine.
  • A bronze award for Tennessee Law in the printed college/alumni magazine category.

In addition, the university won eight awards in various categories, including Best in Show.

Formed in 1975, TCPRA is an alliance of communicators who represent the colleges and universities, public and private, two-year technical schools, technology centers, and community colleges that together define higher education in Tennessee.
