The University of Tennessee College of Law’s Office of Communications recently won four awards from the Tennessee College Public Relations Association (TCPRA).
The awards were presented during TCPRA’s annual summer conference, held in Chattanooga in May.
The UT Law Office of Communications won the following awards:
- A gold award for Tennessee Law Now in the e-newsletter category.
- A silver award in the illustration category for an illustration of musician Robin Thicke (see above), used as the cover image of the spring 2016 issue of Tennessee Law magazine for the feature story “Between the #BlurredLines,” which explores the legal and creative aspects of Thicke’s copyright battle with the estate of Marvin Gaye. The feature was also published in the university’s Torchbearer magazine.
- A silver award in the postcard/invitation category for the printed invitation to the College of Law’s 125th Anniversary Gala and Campaign Launch, held in November 2015.

Formed in 1975, TCPRA is an alliance of communicators who represent the colleges and universities, public and private, two-year technical schools, technology centers, and community colleges that together define higher education in Tennessee.
