Maurice Stucke, a UT Law professor and former trial attorney with the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division, recently spoke with Bloomberg Business about an ongoing investigation by the Justice Department into whether the nation’s four largest airlines colluded on pricing, therefore harming consumers.

“If the DOJ has evidence that a few institutional investors either actively or unwittingly are helping airlines raise prices and reduce services, then that’s precisely the issue one would expect the DOJ to investigate,” Stucke said.
