UT Law invites applications for a one-semester visiting faculty position to commence in the fall of 2016 to teach business law-related courses through the Clayton Center for Entrepreneurial Law. Courses of interest to the school include admiralty law, M&A, commercial leasing, intellectual property licensing, and other transactional courses, as well as courses focusing on the changing role of technology in the modern day practice of law. Successful applicants must have a strong academic and practice background. Preference may be given to those applicants who are seeking to enter the academy from private practice. This visiting position is in no way an interim step toward a full-time faculty appointment at the University of Tennessee.
