Barton pens two-part series for Bloomberg BNA

Barton, BenBenjamin Barton, Helen and Charles Lockett Distinguished Professor of Law, recently penned a two-part series for Bloomberg’s Bureau of National Affairs that pulls from Harvard Business School professor Clayton Christensen’s book, The Innovator’s Dilemma, and applies its findings to Big Law.

The first article in the series is titled, “Law Firms Push For High-End Work is Short Sighted,” and the second is titled, “Lessons From the Rise of LegalZoom.”

Throughout both pieces, Barton discusses Christensen’s theory of disruptive innovation to Big Law, as well as the role of innovation in the legal industry.
