US News ranks UT College of Law 29th among public universities

The University of Tennessee College of Law ranks 29th among public institutions, according to rankings released today by U.S. News and World Report.  Overall, the College of Law rose four points to 56th among law schools throughout the country.

Legal Clinic to offer assistance to Monroe County residents

Professor selected as UT Research Development Academy scholar

College of Law Professor Sherley Cruz has been selected as a 2021-2022 University of Tennessee Research Development Academy scholar. The university’s offices of Equity and Diversity and Research and Engagement offer the Research Development Academy program to faculty who self-identify as underrepresented by virtue of race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or other factors.

Graduate selected to serve public interest law fellowship

Each year, the Washington, D.C.-based Equal Justice Works selects a class of public interest lawyers who have designed one-of-a-kind projects in partnership with legal services organizations.
