Joseph “Joe” Christian joined UT Law in August 2010. As Career Services Coordinator, Employer Relations and Recruitment, he develops relationships with legal employers to foster the employment of UT Law students and graduates; he also coordinates recruitment activities both on campus and nationwide. Christian counsels students about employment settings, job search techniques, and other aspects of law practice. Additionally, he serves as an adjunct professor at the College of Law, teaching a class in Negotiation.
Prior to joining the staff of the College of Law, Christian practiced law with Lewis, Thomason, King, Krieg & Waldrop, P.C. His practice focused on commercial litigation, trademark and copyright law, bankruptcy, business formation, and other civil litigation.
Christian spends much of his spare time pursuing his musical interests; he is a freelance trombonist and performs with several local and regional ensembles. He currently serves as President of the UT Alumni Band Council. Joe also enjoys spending time with his wife, Megan, and daughter, Corinne.
