The College of Law Technical Support Team provides technical assistance for all computers, peripherals, network servers, and software owned by the College of Law. This includes technical support for:
- All College of Law computers and peripherals in individual student, faculty, or staff offices
- All computers and peripherals in the College of Law computing labs
- All approved software installed on those computers
Requests for assistance by the College of Law’s Technology Support staff must be sent to the College of Law Help Desk at email@example.com, an automated system which creates a trouble ticket for the request and alerts all IT staff.
Personally-owned computing hardware and software are not supported by the College of Law. We are able to assist students with wireless and print configuration for personally owned equipment. More technical support options for students’ personally-owned equipment are available through the university’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) Helpdesk, and are subsidized by the Technology Fee. In addition, OIT provides technical assistance to all students, faculty and staff for Tmail, Volmail and Exchange/Outlook email systems and several other services. Please refer to OIT’s Life Preserver page, a primer on services and support, for more information.
