UT Law prides itself on offering an education that blends theory and practice. The College of Law has been a leader in the area of experiential learning, dating back to the founding in 1947 of the college’s Legal Clinic, the longest-running clinic in the country.
In addition to clinical training, UT Law offers a variety of experiential learning opportunities.
Experiential course requirement
All students entering in or after fall 2016 must successfully complete experiential learning courses totaling at least 6 credit hours. For more information about this requirement, consult the Academic Policies and Law Student Handbook.
