Environmental Law Practicum

UT Law

The Environmental Law Practicum offers students the opportunity to affect environmental law and policy in Tennessee. Students develop the skills required to successfully respond in practice to specific environmental challenges. Students help local governments, state agencies, landowners, and non-profit organizations develop quality land use and growth management policies and practices.

Students in the clinic coordinate their efforts with UT graduate students of ecology, environmental design, wildlife ecology, and other disciplines. The coordination allows for integrated environmental decision-making and problem-solving and gives students an opportunity to improve their ability to understand, communicate with, and influence other disciplines.
