Details: Cell Phones for Soldiers is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing deployed and returning troops cost-free methods to communicate with family while serving in the United States military. Donated cell phones are either refurbished or recycled. The money that Cell Phones for Soldiers receives from the recycling company is then used to purchase calling cards and free phone service for deployed and returning military personnel.

Cell Phones for Soldiers is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization recognized by the IRS. UT Law organizations Sword and Scales and Vols for Vets will collect and ship all donated phones to Cell Phones for Soldiers on February 18.
