What activities are you involved with at UT Law?
UT Pro Bono, Phi Alpha Delta McReynolds Mock Trial Team, the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender, & Social Justice, and the Law Ambassadors.
What’s your favorite thing about UT Law?
I love how friendships are developed in law school. Starbucks will not fix the stress, panic attacks, and tireless nights; only the people that sit next to you will. They will not let you hang out to dry. After all, bonds are strengthened through challenges.
What’s your favorite thing about Knoxville?
Market Square in downtown Knoxville.
Why did you choose to attend UT Law?
They gave me an offer that I could not refuse. Also, I have family here in Knoxville.
What’s one thing you wish you knew about law school or the admissions process ahead of time?
From hindsight, I wish that I knew I would get accepted into my school of choice before spending money on other applications.
What interesting jobs, internships, or study abroad experiences have you had during law school so far?
I am a 1L, and I have not had any of these experiences yet. However, I have an interest in studying abroad.
What did you do the summer before law school?
I worked at UPS Corp, and mentally prepared myself for law school.
What do you plan on doing after graduation?
I want to join the U.S Air Force or Army Jag Corps.
