ADA Accommodations

The College of Law is committed to the goals of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act regarding applicants and students with disabilities. Under these laws, no qualified applicant or student with a disability shall be denied access to participation in services, programs, and activities of the College of Law or the University of Tennessee. The College of Law will make reasonable accommodations for documented disabilities of admitted students.

If you have a disability requiring accommodation, contact the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the College of Law. It is your responsibility to make your needs known in a timely fashion in order to allow for sufficient opportunity for the College of Law to evaluate documentation of the disability and to work out specific plans to accommodate your needs. Please do not assume that this information is known by the Student Affairs Office just because the application to Law school indicated the presence of a disability. Students who do not require accommodation are not required to make their disabilities known.

More information is available from the Office of Disability Services.
